Intuitive is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its Embedded Networking Software team within the Multiport Platform Software group. The role leads architecture and multi-year technical direction for the dV5 robotic embedded network across all seven OSI layers, including reliability, performance, publish/subscribe messaging, session APIs, Ethernet drivers, and deterministic real-time paths. Responsibilities include designing and delivering features, leading code reviews, mentoring engineers, resolving hardware-software networking issues, and coordinating with cross-functional teams. The position requires a bachelor’s degree with 10+ years or a master’s degree with 8+ years of relevant industry experience, along with expertise in OSI networking, C/C++, embedded systems, Linux, RTOS, and high-speed networking software.
