Description
The Embedded Software Engineer will architect, develop, integrate, and deploy foundational platform software for Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies vehicle controls boards. Responsibilities include embedded drivers, operating systems, middleware, power management, vehicle reset, occupancy detection, diagnostics, and over-the-air updates, along with hardware collaboration and cross-functional coordination. The role requires 7+ years of embedded software or firmware development, strong C and real-time operating systems expertise, microcontroller development, and experience with live sensor inputs and embedded diagnostics.
