dLocal is hiring a Staff Engineer for its Payments Performance team to design, develop, and scale Java-based systems for payment routing, fraud prevention, anomaly detection, and overall payment performance. The role leads technical architecture, optimizes application and database performance, conducts system testing, troubleshoots bottlenecks, and reviews code while collaborating with technology leaders and product teams. It requires a bachelor’s degree in software engineering or computer science, at least seven years of Java development experience, strong software architecture and design skills, and familiarity with cloud platforms, Spring, Hibernate, event-driven architecture, and production monitoring tools.
