Description
TuxCare is hiring a fully remote Staff Engineer for KernelCare to build and own high-reliability automation and software pipelines for Linux live patching and extended lifecycle support products. The role is approximately 70% hands-on backend engineering in Python and 30% technical product ownership, covering architecture, requirements gathering, production implementation, release, and ongoing operation. Candidates should have strong Linux and system design experience, be comfortable reviewing C code, use AI-assisted development tools regularly, and work independently across engineering, product, sales, and other stakeholders.
