Description
Renesas is seeking a Board Evaluation and Characterization Engineer to lead the bring-up, testing, and electrical characterization of evaluation boards and silicon devices. The role supports SoC, MCU, and ASIC validation by characterizing high-speed interfaces, validating power and peripheral functionality, measuring signal integrity and current consumption, debugging hardware issues, correlating bench and ATE data, and developing automated test scripts. Candidates need a relevant engineering degree, at least 7 years of hardware or board-level validation experience, strong knowledge of high-speed interface characterization and PCB debugging, familiarity with semiconductor lab tools and schematic/layout tools, and scripting ability.
