Description
Strava is hiring a Staff Engineer to set the technical direction for its social platform services and act as a tech lead for a small pod of engineers. The role owns the roadmap and architectural strategy for foundational services, drives modernization and migration efforts, partners with product teams, and designs systems using technologies including Ruby, Scala, Go, MySQL, Redis, Cassandra, Kafka, and Kubernetes. The position requires 10+ years of backend/server engineering experience, distributed-systems expertise, and a hybrid work arrangement with more than half the time on-site in San Francisco or Denver.
