Description
The Staff Engineer – Data owns the architecture, integrity, scalability, and reliability of a high-volume, consumer-facing data ecosystem. The role designs and operates cloud-native data systems on AWS, including Aurora PostgreSQL, Redis, event-driven pipelines, Snowflake, and behavioral or observability tools; establishes data standards, governance, and access patterns; improves observability and incident response; and mentors engineers. The position requires expertise in distributed data systems, high-throughput event processing, data integrity, and cross-functional collaboration, and includes medical, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, and other benefits.
