The role involves building Kubernetes-native storage operators and self-service platforms, optimizing high-throughput data paths, caching architectures, parallel filesystems, multi-tenancy, and cost-efficient tiering, and contributing to open-source storage projects. Candidates need at least eight years of distributed storage experience, production Kubernetes and cloud-native storage expertise, strong Go and Python skills, and a degree or equivalent practical experience.
