Enphase Energy is hiring an Embedded Software Engineer to develop embedded software for microgrid products, including inverters and gateway products. The role covers software design, implementation, verification, firmware testing, debugging, and production support, using embedded Linux, C/C++, real-time control, and cross-functional collaboration. The position is based at Enphase’s Christchurch Research and Development Centre and requires a relevant bachelor’s degree and at least seven years of experience. AI and agentic coding tools, ARM microcontroller systems, communication protocols, and solar or microgrid product experience are bonus qualifications. Visa sponsorship is not available, and candidates must be eligible to work in New Zealand.
