Description
TuxCare is seeking a fully remote Staff Engineer for KernelCare to build automation and high-reliability pipelines for Linux live patching and extended lifecycle support products. The role is approximately 70% hands-on backend software engineering and 30% technical product ownership, covering end-to-end ownership of product components from discovery and architecture through production delivery and ongoing operation. The ideal candidate has strong Python backend engineering, Linux, system design, C code review, stakeholder communication, independent execution, and AI-assisted development experience; Linux kernel patching, kernel modules, C programming, debugging, and operating-systems expertise are preferred.
