Description
Infineon is hiring a Staff Engineer, Ion Trap Development for its Research & Development team to develop ion-trap quantum processors and ion-trap chips. The role involves experimental splits on fabrication tools, developing new materials and processes, standardizing process blocks, conducting inline measurements and process control, and interpreting process data to improve manufacturing quality. Candidates need a master’s degree in a relevant technical field, at least three years of semiconductor industry experience, semiconductor process-flow experience, and proficiency with process databases and data-driven process optimization. The position is initially limited to two years and offers performance-based additional benefits.
