Description
Lucid is hiring a Staff Engineer, Lighting Systems (Resident Engineering) to serve as the primary on-site technical owner for plant-related lighting systems. The role supports prototype builds, launch readiness, production stabilization, issue resolution, validation, supplier coordination, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities include mechanical and hardware troubleshooting, CAD and GD&T review, engineering changes, root-cause analysis, line trials, and escalation of program risks. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field and at least 10 years of automotive OEM or Tier 1 experience in lighting systems, resident engineering, launch, manufacturing support, or production issue resolution.
