Description
Synopsys is hiring a post-silicon SerDes validation engineer to validate PCIe Gen5/Gen6 and Ethernet IP across process nodes and customer configurations. The role involves running compliance tests, analyzing signal integrity, debugging failures, developing Python, MATLAB, and C/C++ automation, characterizing analog performance with BERTs, VNAs, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers, collaborating with design and applications teams, documenting results, and supporting FPGA-based prototyping. The position requires a bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, electronics and communication engineering, VLSI, or equivalent hands-on experience.
