Description

Enphase Energy is hiring a Verification Engineer to validate a custom RISC-V VLIW processor architecture and its associated instruction set extensions. The role develops SystemVerilog verification environments, validates pipeline, scheduling, memory, exception, and architectural behavior, supports hardware/software co-verification, and contributes to mixed-signal verification environments involving RTL, real-number modeling, analog simulation, and closed-loop control applications. Candidates need a relevant PhD or master's degree with substantial industry experience, strong processor and verification expertise, and proficiency with Python or similar scripting languages. The base salary is $120,000 to $183,600, with stock, bonus, and benefits.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or a master's degree in a related field.
Required Previous Experiences: At least 3 years of relevant industry experience for a PhD candidate.
At least 6 years of relevant industry experience for a master's degree candidate.
Experience developing SystemVerilog verification environments and industry-standard verification methodologies.
Experience analyzing instruction traces, execution timing, and architectural behavior.
Familiarity with RTL design, simulation, synthesis, and verification workflows.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with RISC-V processors and ecosystem tools.
