Infineon is hiring a Staff Engineer for its Research & Development team to apply semiconductor physics and device knowledge to product innovation, wafer, package, and product projects. The role includes product design and process design of experiments, electrical characterization, reliability testing, failure analysis, troubleshooting, and transfer-project evaluation. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in electronics, microelectronics, physics, or a related field, semiconductor device and power-switch knowledge, wide-bandgap experience, and strong technical problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills in English and German.
