The role provides technical leadership across two engineering teams, shapes distributed frontend and backend architecture, and remains hands-on with React, Java, and related technologies. Responsibilities include architectural decision-making, engineering standards, observability and reliability, complex cross-team initiatives, and mentoring engineers. The position is remote from Germany, with possible occasional on-site collaboration in Berlin or Cologne.
