SmartLogic is hiring a fully remote Staff Engineer within the United States and its Territories for a contract engagement. The role provides technical leadership for multiple custom software projects, owns delivery planning and team efficiency, mentors developers and designers, leads CI/CD and cloud architecture, and supports solutioning, estimation, and pre-sales. It requires 7+ years of modern software development experience, including Ruby on Rails, Elixir, Phoenix, Flutter or React Native, and DevOps; 5+ years of DevOps experience; practical production experience with AI-assisted development tools; and 3+ years in consultancy. The engagement pays $90-$110 per hour, with flexible weekly hours of 25-40 and availability during core working hours.
