PacBio is hiring a Staff Engineer, Software (Deployment) to set technical direction for compute platforms used in sequencing appliances, customer data centers, and the cloud. The role owns cloud deployment, CI/CD pipelines, containerized builds, image architecture, hardware integration, infrastructure as code, supply-chain security, regulated release processes, and technical leadership. Candidates need extensive systems, platform, release, or deployment engineering experience, Linux expertise, Python and shell fluency, and experience with regulated software delivery; the position is onsite and offers a salary range of $170,400 to $255,600.
