Description
Micron Technology is hiring a Staff Engineer for SSD Validation to lead the validation, system integration, and joint qualification of Enterprise and Datacenter NVMe SSD products. The role directs validation test plans, performs firmware, hardware, OS, driver, and platform testing, supports customer and partner issue reproduction, develops Python-based and AI-enabled automation, and mentors engineers. It requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field, at least five years of SSD, storage, or semiconductor validation experience, NVMe and PCIe expertise, Linux system and storage-stack knowledge, and Python automation skills. The US base salary range is $121,000 to $207,000 per year, with benefits, bonuses, and equity potentially available.
