Description
Carrier is hiring a Sustaining Electrical Engineer to own sustaining engineering for product electrical systems, power distribution, and wiring; investigate and resolve field and production electrical issues; develop design improvements and component-obsolescence solutions; maintain schematics, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and change control; support certification, testing, and supplier qualification; and provide technical guidance to technicians and less-experienced engineers. The role requires a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 7+ years of electrical engineering experience in a product or manufacturing environment, with HVAC/refrigeration, control-panel, code-compliance, and high-voltage experience preferred. The annual salary is $96,000 to $192,000, with short-term cash incentives and medical, dental, vision, retirement, leave, and other benefits.
