Description
The CMP Staff Equipment Engineer ensures the performance, reliability, and stability of Chemical Mechanical Planarization production equipment in semiconductor manufacturing. The role covers equipment troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance, installation and commissioning, defect investigations, process optimization, monitoring systems, documentation, operator training, inventory management, and continuous improvement. It requires a STEM bachelor’s degree or higher, CMP and semiconductor manufacturing knowledge, ability to interpret technical drawings, proficiency with equipment control interfaces and robotic automation, cleanroom work, and flexibility for shift schedules.
