Life360 is hiring a Staff Firmware Engineer to build and own its on-device machine-learning platform for Tile and Pet GPS trackers. The role combines deep embedded firmware work with RTOS, drivers, power management, and hardware debugging, plus edge-ML deployment, quantization, model optimization, and inference on microcontroller-class hardware. The engineer will architect the reusable inference framework, ship it to the device fleet, debug production issues, and lead embedded-ML direction while also contributing regular firmware work. The position is hybrid by design, with US and Canadian salary ranges and medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
