Humanoid is hiring a Staff Firmware Engineer for its Core Platform team in Boston to develop and debug firmware for humanoid robots. The role focuses on motion control, stabilization, sensor and actuator integration, real-time control algorithms, communication protocols, embedded drivers, security, and fail-safe mechanisms. The engineer will also lead and mentor junior engineers, maintain documentation, and manage version control. The position requires 8+ years of embedded systems experience, proficiency in C and C++ for microcontrollers, experience with RTOS and bare-metal systems, and familiarity with ARM Cortex, STM32, and common communication protocols.
