GitLab is hiring a Staff Frontend Engineer for its Core DevOps team to provide technical leadership across frontend initiatives and adjacent teams. The role focuses on complex frontend architecture, platform and design-system strategy, modernization of legacy systems, shared standards, safe release practices, and mentoring engineers. It requires sustained technical leadership, deep frontend architecture and production experience, and experience with modular frontend architectures, design systems, and shared component architectures. The position is remote and supports GitLab’s global DevSecOps platform.
