Google Cloud is hiring a Generative AI Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with strategic AI partners and transition frontier AI prototypes into production-grade agentic workflows. The role involves building and debugging Python-based AI systems, evaluating and observing multi-agent solutions, identifying reusable patterns and product opportunities, and helping partners develop long-term delivery capabilities. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, at least eight years of Python software development experience, cloud AI architecture experience, enterprise data and RAG experience, and customer-facing technical discovery experience. The position is based in Sydney or Melbourne, Australia, and requires in-person interviews.
