Description
The role is an experienced private utility locator and developing level Geophysicist who performs non-invasive geophysical surveys from the ground surface to locate underground utilities and supports geologic, groundwater, environmental, engineering, and materials-testing investigations. Responsibilities include defining survey objectives, designing approaches, collecting and analyzing geophysical data, interpreting results, performing field marking and reporting, and incorporating findings into infrastructure planning, design, construction, environmental assessment, and earth-resource evaluation. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in Geology or Geophysics or, alternatively, eight years of utility locating experience, a valid driver’s license, and preferably previous utility locating and GPR experience.
