Description
Inversion is hiring a Staff Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) Engineer focused on guidance for its high-performance maneuvering lifting-body reentry vehicle. The role owns guidance architecture from concept through flight, develops onboard trajectory-replanning algorithms for real-time mission updates, builds and validates 3-DOF and 6-DOF simulations and plant models, collaborates across GNC and mission design, and mentors engineers. It is an on-site position at Inversion headquarters in Playa Vista, California, requiring a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, typically 9+ years of relevant experience, and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret/Top Secret clearance.
