Description
Infineon is hiring a Staff Hardware Engineer to independently lead hardware development for power semiconductor applications in residential and commercial photovoltaic systems, energy storage systems, PV optimizers, and battery chargers. The role covers power electronics schematic and PCB design, converter topology selection, component evaluation, prototype assembly and debugging, thermal and efficiency testing, reliability validation, and hardware-software co-debugging. Candidates need a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant engineering field, at least two years of power-electronics hardware design experience, EDA-tool proficiency, and laboratory testing experience; renewable-energy product experience and wide-bandgap or embedded-MCU knowledge are preferred.
