Description
Google is hiring a Hardware Engineer to design and build the hardware and software systems powering its computing infrastructure, from concept through high-volume manufacturing. The role leads system architecture, trade-off analyses, power delivery, high-speed signal pathways, lab validation, system bring-up, root-cause analysis, and cross-functional initiatives involving silicon, firmware, software, thermal, mechanical, and operations teams. It also influences manufacturing and vendor roadmaps for design-for-manufacturing and design-for-test. The position requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience, six years of electrical engineering design experience, three years of technical leadership experience, and experience with AI/ML hardware platforms such as GPUs and TPUs.
