BlackLine is hiring a Staff II Software Engineer to lead architecture and hands-on delivery of scalable, enterprise-grade AI platforms for a secure, compliant financial system. The role combines end-to-end system design, agentic AI and generative AI development, production observability, release strategy, and technical leadership for Staff Engineers and Technical Leads. Candidates need 15+ years of software engineering experience, a relevant degree, expertise with .NET, C#, Python, SQL Server, and Snowflake, and experience with production systems, AI agents, and regulated industries. The position is a senior individual contributor role with a hybrid arrangement requiring office attendance at least three days per week.
