Description
The Embedded Software Test Engineer will join Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies’ Platform Software Test Team to test and validate core firmware platforms across the company’s product portfolio. The role involves designing ECU simulation and physical test architectures, developing and maintaining automation and test frameworks, creating regression test suites, implementing embedded solution simulations, and partnering with software, product, and engineering teams to define automated testing and release strategies. The position requires at least eight years of Python scripting and embedded software development experience, along with knowledge of testing methodologies, QA processes, and continuous integration systems.
