Description
Angi is hiring a Staff Machine Learning Engineer to lead advanced machine learning and AI model development for its marketplace, including search ranking, recommendation, matching, and large language model systems. The role owns MLOps, model evaluation, deployment, performance optimization, and production reliability while collaborating with engineering, data science, product, and infrastructure teams. It also includes mentoring junior team members and contributing to the team’s technical roadmap. Candidates need a Master’s or Ph.D. in a quantitative field, at least six years of data science and machine learning experience, hands-on open-weight LLM experience, strong MLOps and distributed systems knowledge, and proficiency in SQL, Python, TensorFlow, and PyTorch. The base salary is $230,000-$310,000, with performance bonus and equity benefits.
