Description
MediaAlpha is hiring a Staff Machine Learning Engineer to lead the design, development, integration, evaluation, and operations of LLM-powered applications for internal teams and its ad serving platform. The role owns end-to-end systems, including RAG architectures, tool-use patterns, multi-step reasoning workflows, and architectural tradeoffs, while collaborating with engineering, product, and business stakeholders. It requires 9+ years of software development experience, strong Python and LLM application experience, RAG and agent-framework expertise, and a bachelor's degree. The position is hybrid, with three days per week in the office, and offers a base salary of $170,000 to $260,000 per year plus benefits.
