Description
Doctolib is hiring a Staff Machine Learning Engineer - Retrieval to build and own its Medical Knowledge Platform, which grounds clinical AI decisions in validated medical sources. The role owns indexing and retrieval systems, including Elasticsearch, Solr, Vertex AI, vector search, embeddings, re-ranking, query processing, and custom RAG systems, while operating at scale with 100M+ documents, 50+ requests per second, and sub-300ms latency. The position is permanent and full-time in Levallois-Perret, France, with a hybrid setup of up to two remote days per week and a start date as soon as possible.
