Coupang Play is hiring an internal Staff Machine Learning Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable machine learning platforms and production ML services supporting OTT content recommendations, personalization, and user viewing experiences. The role covers the full ML lifecycle, including data processing, feature engineering, model training and evaluation, real-time inference, ML APIs, deployment, monitoring, experimentation, and continuous improvement, while providing technical leadership across ML platform architecture and engineering strategy. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field, at least seven years of ML product development and operations experience, and experience with recommendation or large-scale ML systems, real-time inference, Python, PyTorch, Spark, Airflow, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, microservices, containers, and CI/CD.
