Google is hiring a Manufacturing Test Development Engineer to support manufacturing test development for new and existing hardware designs. The role involves writing test plans, developing automated Python test scripts, building and deploying test platforms for manufacturing partners, analyzing yield and field-escape issues, and defining manufacturing test strategies. The engineer will collaborate with Commodity Managers and Design Engineers and serve as a technical lead. The posting requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience and 8 years of experience in coding, test methodology, test planning, test cases, and debugging; a master's degree, manufacturing test software experience, networking skills, technical leadership experience, Python scripting, and product-specific testing experience are preferred. Compensation is $176,000–$256,000 USD plus a 20% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
