Description
Renesas is hiring an Embedded Firmware Application Engineer to develop, debug, and optimize embedded firmware in C/C++ for Renesas microcontrollers, provide technical support and solution guidance to customers, create proof-of-concept applications, manage escalations, and collaborate with FAEs, marketing, and engineering teams. The role reports to the Manager, MCU Application Engineering and is based in Taiwan or Japan. Candidates need a BS in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or equivalent, at least 8 years of embedded systems experience, and strong embedded MCU firmware development experience; RTOS, MCU peripherals, IoT connectivity, and customer-facing engineering experience are preferred.
