Description
The Staff Mechanical Engineer performs complex mechanical and aerospace engineering work across the product lifecycle, including design, analysis, development, testing, production, certification, and sustainment. The role owns significant engineering tasks and subsystems, leads technical reviews and risk assessments, improves engineering methods and product quality, and provides guidance and mentorship to less-experienced engineers. It requires a bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering and 7–10 years of relevant experience, along with CAD, FEA or CFD, prototyping, and hands-on engineering skills.
