IPA is hiring a Staff Mechanical Engineer in Duluth, Georgia, to serve as a technical authority on complex mechanical systems from concept through production. The role leads research, development, mechanism design, prototyping, manufacturing and assembly processes, vendor sourcing, troubleshooting, and cost optimization, with a hybrid schedule of four office days and one remote day. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electromechanical engineering and at least 10 years of hands-on experience, along with expertise in CAD, motion analysis, FEA, DFM/DFA/DFS, and electromechanical prototyping. The position offers $120,000–$140,000 plus bonus eligibility and comprehensive benefits.
