Description
The Mechanical Design Engineer will design the mechanical aspects of next-generation optical transceivers, including 1.6T and 3.2T OSFP products. The role requires SolidWorks 3D and 2D design, tolerance and thermal analysis, BOM and Agile release documentation, collaboration with electrical and optical teams, and occasional overseas travel for design-for-manufacturing work with vendors and factories. The position is on-site and requires a mechanical engineering degree, at least two years of mechanical design experience, and expertise in semiconductor laser optics, fiber optics, and related packaging technologies.
