Description
Lockheed Martin Space is hiring a Satellite Bus Structures Design Engineer to research, design, analyze, and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems for satellite bus structures. The role collaborates with hardware development, testing, integration, and delivery teams; develops engineering documents, 3D models, and 2D drawings; reviews requirements across instrumentation, dynamics, stress, systems, thermal, and manufacturing disciplines; and supports products through the engineering lifecycle. The position requires a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline, at least seven years of mechanical design and/or integration experience, strong GD&T and 3D CAD knowledge, and U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret security clearance.
