Description
Mainspring Energy is hiring a Staff Mechanical Engineer – Battery Design to lead battery pack and module development for current and future energy platforms. The role serves as the internal battery technical authority, defining architectures, evaluating safety and reliability, leading supplier and manufacturing readiness activities, and resolving production, test, and field issues. It requires a mechanical engineering degree, at least 10 years of lithium-ion battery pack or module design experience, supplier and contract manufacturer experience, and proficiency with SolidWorks and PLM systems. The position is onsite at Mainspring’s Menlo Park headquarters.
