Axon is hiring a Staff Mechanical Engineer, Communications Hardware to own mechanical design and development from concept through high-volume production for ruggedized, wireless-connected public-safety devices. The role leads mechanical, electro-mechanical, RF, thermal, sealing, durability, ergonomics, and manufacturing readiness activities, partners with industrial design, electrical, RF, product management, and manufacturing teams, and requires 12+ years of mechanical product design experience plus 5+ years of technical leadership. The position is hybrid, with onsite work Tuesday through Friday at one of three regional hubs in New York City, Boston, or Scottsdale, Arizona, and offers a starting base annual salary of $108,750 to $189,750 plus bonus and equity.
