Description
1X is hiring a Mechanical Engineer for its Robot Head team to design and deliver the mechanical systems powering NEO’s head assembly. The role owns components and assemblies from concept and prototyping through validation, manufacturing, and production ramp, covering cameras, microphones, sensors, antennas, wire harnesses, PCBAs, and computing modules. Responsibilities include CAD modeling, GD&T documentation, mechanical integration, testing, reliability validation, failure analysis, and manufacturing improvement. The position requires a mechanical engineering degree, at least three years of mechanical product development experience, CAD and FEA proficiency, and full-time onsite work in San Carlos, California.
