Description
GrayMatter Robotics is hiring a Staff Mechatronics Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced robotic systems for manufacturing automation. The role owns complex mechatronic subsystems, system architecture, requirements, trade studies, testing, validation, and troubleshooting, while collaborating with software, controls, manufacturing, and field teams. It also involves mentoring senior and mid-level engineers, supporting customer-facing technical discussions, and influencing product and platform roadmaps. The position requires at least 12 years of experience in mechatronics, robotics, or automation engineering, along with expertise in controls, embedded C/C++ and Python, PLC-based industrial automation, CAD, and full-system robotic design.
