SimpliSafe is hiring a Staff ML Engineer for its Cloud ML team to lead the architecture, reliability, and operational excellence of production machine-learning infrastructure. The role focuses on real-time computer vision inference and LLM/GenAI serving, with responsibilities spanning Kubernetes-based platforms, Ray, model serving, GPU utilization, autoscaling, observability, incident response, and engineering mentorship. Candidates need at least 8 years of software or ML engineering experience, strong cloud and production ML systems experience, Python proficiency, and Staff-level technical leadership.
