Lyra Health is hiring a Staff ML/AI Engineer to define and execute the architectural vision for its machine learning and generative AI technology landscape. The role leads enterprise-scale AI platform architecture, training, fine-tuning, low-latency inference, RAG, vector databases, evaluation and guardrails, and the full AI/ML software development lifecycle. It also involves cross-functional technical leadership, mentoring senior engineers, and hands-on architectural and coding contributions. The position requires at least eight years of production ML/AI experience, strong software and cloud architecture expertise, and experience with generative AI systems. The anticipated annual base salary is $161,000 to $221,500, with medical, dental, vision, equity, retirement, paid time off, and other benefits.
