Datavant is hiring a Staff ML Platform Engineer to lead the architecture and operation of machine-learning training, inference, serving, observability, and CI/CD infrastructure for clinical-AI products. The role owns the shared platform framework, LLM-endpoint serving across managed and self-hosted environments, MLflow and model-registry standards, GPU and Spark tuning, and production incidents, while mentoring senior engineers and contributing hands-on infrastructure-as-code. Candidates need 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years designing and operating enterprise-scale ML platforms, along with strong Databricks, SageMaker, Java, Python, Spark, AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, and LLM-serving experience. The estimated total cash compensation is $224,000–$280,000 USD, and the role is not eligible for employment sponsorship.
