Description
Airwallex is hiring a Staff Mobile Engineer for its Mobile Foundations team to lead the technical direction of shared iOS and Android mobile architecture, core platform capabilities, security, reliability, observability, CI/CD, releases, and developer experience. The role owns critical shared libraries and frameworks, mentors senior and mid-level engineers, drives cross-team initiatives, and sets engineering best practices. It can be based in Singapore, Melbourne, or San Francisco and requires 8–10+ years of native mobile experience, including at least 3+ years at a Senior or Staff level, along with deep expertise in either Swift/iOS or Kotlin/Android and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
