The Staff Physician - Eligibility Appeals Board supports the Paratransit Eligibility Appeals Board by providing medical expertise for ADA-compliant eligibility appeals, including in-person hearings, telephone and video conferences, and review of written applications and medical documentation. The physician may also assist with subsequent meetings, conference calls, and Article 78 proceedings. The role is based at 33-00 Northern Blvd, Long Island City, New York, requires medical school graduation, at least one year of residency or clinical equivalent, and a current New York medical license, and offers compensation of $182,873 to $195,919.
